Heathcliff, Is a big orange striped cat who goes around his neighborhood
playing practical jokes on a lot of people. Along with The Catillac Cats he was
a popular cartoon loved by many .The Pudgy orange Heathcliff has a girlfriend
Named Sonja and Spike the Dog chases him around but he always gets away.

Heathcliff got his start as a comic strip in the newspaper,created by
George Gately and the strip continues to this day.

The Cartoon show First Aired September 1984 and Last Aired March 1991in
the United States. And was also popular later in Japan.
Crafty cat Heathcliff terrorizes the neighborhood in his third and final cartoon show.
The series also featured "Cats and Company," the escapades of The Catillac Cats
a group of cats that lived in a junkyard,. Their house was a transforming cadillac(car)
That could change into a boat, plane.. whatever was needed. led by Riff-Raff,
whose get-rich-quick schemes and search for the ultimate meal keep them in and
out of trouble. Along with Hector, Wordsworth, and Mungo . Mongo was the strong, dumb cat. Wordsworth was the roller skating energetic one. Hector was
the entrepeneur, and Cleo was Riff Raff's girlfriend.

Heathcliff also appeared in thirty-second segments on the dos and don'ts of pet care
. Other characters include Spike, Iggy, Mugsy, Knuckles, Raul, Bush, Sonja, Grandma,and Leroy, the junkyard dog. Riff Raff and Cleo never appeared
in a Heathcliff episode On air. Featured in a full-length motion picture, Heathcliff cartoons have even hung on the walls of the Louvre in Paris.
