Betty

Betty is a good example why you must be very careful when choosing to
declaw (I myself am against it.)
Betty was declawed by her first owner then let out side. When I learned this I was distressed
And worried about her for almost a year.
And horror of horrors it happened
Another animal got a hold of her and did some real damage.
She had no front claws for defense
Her tail was about 90% severed right off her back!
the owner was just trying to get by with some salve
My daughter took her to the vet and after 3 days, surgery and over 25 stitches,
I am happy to say Betty now lives at my daughters.
